Introduction

I love pizza chart and they can be useful in itemizing different metrics at once. I can already see how this might be used in an e-commerce setting (Valid items, NMV, Seller score, return rate, cancellation rate, delivered final items, pageviews et al. all on a chart).

However for this tutorial, i have decided to use footballers as illustration. I have seen Tom Worville of theatletic use this chart on most of his articles (or a lot of it).

## Scraping full scouting report for Cristiano Ronaldo
## Scraping full scouting report for Lionel Messi
## Scraping full scouting report for Neymar
## Scraping full scouting report for Robert Lewandowski

Let’s start with Lionel Messi….

Another way of reading this is: Messi is good at attacking and in possessions but very poor in defending. His progressive carries is 99 meaning compared to other players in top 5 european competition, messi is one of the best at progressive carries (if not the best). Same for Dribbles completed and Touches. On the other-hand, his clearances stat is 1, in short, he’s really bad at clearances.

I tend to read this metrics as grades(school grades). The higher the number the better. I see 99 as scoring 99/100 (imagine how outstanding that is - just missing on 1 question out of 100).

Below, i have added three other players. Starting with Ronaldo…..

… and then Neymar….

…. and then lewandowski
