Good to meet you!
Hi! My name is Elizabeth Nurre. I am a Cincinnati native, currently working in marketing research as a Senior Project Manager in Research Sampling at Burke, Inc. I work primarily on survey research projects supporting QSR’s, healthcare companies, and CPG retailers through the quality-intensive management of online samples using partner panels as well as internal databases to manage and distribute client-provided samples.
MS in Information Technology and Data Analytics Graduate Certificate, University of Cincinnati
MA in Sociology, University of Cincinnati
Certificate in Database Management, University of Cincinnati
BA in Psychology and Sociology, University of Cincinnati
After graduating with my first Master’s degree, I went to work for the University of Cincinnati’s Institute for Policy Research as a Research Associate. For over five years, I supported grant-funded qualitative and quantitative research projects in program evaluation and public opinion surveying as a project manager, data manager, survey programmer, analyst, and internal IT administrator. It was this experience that inspired me to pursue a second Master’s degree in Information Technology and to advance my analytics skills through the UC Business Analytics program. In March of 2021, I left my position with the University to pursue a career in marketing research with Burke, Inc., also located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Including two years of part-time work as a Graduate Research Assistant while earning my MA in Sociology, I have almost eight collective years of professional research experience.
I am still a beginner in R and RStudio, though I have had limited exposure through professional networks and in previous Data Analytics coursework.
