Two model detection exploration app

The dataset

  • The gapminder dataset contains countries, continents, life expectancy, gdp per capita and populations
  • This measures are taken from 1952-2007
  • A dataset containing the median of each of the three quantitative variables in all years was generated
  • We try to predict continent by the median life expectancy, gdp per capita and population.

Economic and Income Groups

  • Using the rnaturalearth package, I got also the classification of each country by economy and income group.
  • With those two categoricals, we can explore how did each model do within those groups.
  • This is how the final dataset looks like:
