Effect of vaccinations on Covid-19 cases in the United States of America

Introduction

This presentation is represents the effect of vaccinations on Covid-19 cases in the United States of America (USA). As daily cases in the USA decreased significantly after people received vaccinations and also comparing type of vaccines usage.

Covid-19 cases

Since last year, situation of Covid-19 in the USA is getting worst. The peak period is in the beginning of January, 2021. However it is better since the USA started vaccinated their people at the same month. As you can see from the graph, the number of infected people are decreased dramatically.

Vaccinated people

This plot illustrates number of population who received vaccine all doses.

Cases and vaccinated people

It can prove that covid-19 vaccines are effective at preventing people from getting infection.

The line graphs compare between Covid-19 cases and vaccinated people in January to end of May 2021

Vaccinations

As the previous plots show that vaccines can help to reduce new cases. In addition, the primary vaccines of the USA including Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen. So, we would like to compare percentage of the different type vaccine usage, as shown at the next graph.
