What were your coding goals this week?

It was to gain a much better understanding of how to utilize both markdown and rmarkdown and get better at coding myself

How did you go achieving your goals? (challenges/successes)

Honestly it was quite difficult for me to do so since I’ve never done coding before and actually had to give each one a couple of watches to make sure I got them right despite them being so simple but here are some of the steps I want to make to do better in week 2

  1. Get started earlier in the week
  2. Apply myself more creatively to the tasks and have more fun with it

Speaking of having fun, I saw that many people in their learning logs went for a theme, so I’d like to try my hand at it

Here is a quick and easy guide to making Shoyu Ramen at home

First for the ingredients:

  • Tare
    • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
    • 1/2 tsp Kosher salt
    • 1/4 tsp MSG
    • pinch of sugar
    • drop of mirin
  • Aroma Oil
    • chopped ginger
    • chopped green onion
    • cooking oil
  • Soup
    • 450ml Water
    • 1 tsp fish stock powder
    • 1 tsp chicken stock powder

What the next steps are in your coding journey?

To be utilizing the more Rmarkdown focused portions as I am having a bit of trouble utilizing the YAML sections for customization and inserting equations.But I believe another watch through and further testing on Rmarkdown will allow me to do better :))
