Diante das questões analisadas, pode-se notar que desde sua constituição, isto é, seu início, o Museu sempre deu preferência às obras de artistas do gênero masculino em detrimento das artistas do gênero feminino, visto que a primeira obra adquirida foi de um homem (a primeira obra de pintada por uma mulher só foi adquirada 7 anos depois!), o artista que possui
mais pinturas no Museu também é um homem, a maior parte das pinturas também são de artistas do gênero masculino e os homens são a maioria dentre os artistas em geral (que o moma possui obras). Óbvio que tal realidade deve ter sido influenciada pelo preconceito e desigualdade de gênero que era bem maior na época em que o museu iniciou suas atividades. Portanto, deveria o museu começar um projeto visando a aquisição de mais obras criadas por artistas mulheres (obras contemporâneas mesmo, como forma de enaltecer e incentivar essa carreira para as mulheres), dessa forma, mostraria que o trabalho das mulheres tem igual relevância e qualidade frente aos dos homens.
