I was a bit intimidated when starting the R markdown modules, however I found that I actually really enjoyed them! I have been interested in coding in the past but never got around to it so I am excited to be doing this. My top goal this week was to finish the R markdown modules and become familiar with the program.
Luckily, I found that I didn’t run into much trouble when completing the modules. I successfully completed the modules (yay!) and started looking on the internet to see what else I could add to this learning log.
However, one challenge I did face was not indenting before adding my theme and not realising what I had done wrong. I double checked each line until I found my mistake.
I also wanted to try adding an image.

I finished all the R markdown modules and feel slightly more familiar with R markdown, so I can say that these goals have been ACHIEVED!
Next week, I want to try inserting equations. I also want to work through the rest of Danielle’s modules, and am quite excited to do so! I found using markdown to be very satisfying and therapeutic and I am quite happy with my progress so far. In my spare time, I would like to see how else I could make my document more personalised.
