Introduction

What is COVID-19 Clinical Trial Studies?

A clinical study involves research using human volunteers that is intended to add to medical knowledge. There are two main types of clinical studies and observational studies.

ClinicalTrials.gov is a Web-based resource maintained by National Library of Medicine (NLM) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to provide public information regarding clinical trials.
ClinicalTrials.gov includes both interventions and observational studies.

Problem Statement and Objective.

Studies tracked in this websites with loosely defined column causing difficulty to summarize the data. Thus data transformation is needed to better view the overall summary. Details

Objective.

Extract important info. Example : Extract Country from Locations, Extract Drug name from Interventions. Details Summarize it into simple visualization such as Map. Details1

Final Result

What we achieve?

  1. Summary of top country and top drugs in clinical trial.
  2. Summary of top vaccine in clinical trial.
  3. Option to drill down to details of the trial.
