Our Dataset

The dataset that we used was obtained from Kaggle. Originally, it only contained online courses for 1 category: Business.

We found datasets for other categories (Finance, Lifestyle & IT-Software) & then gathered all of these and combined them into one file.

Data Preprocessing

We took the following steps:

  • Merged several categories of data.
  • Created a column called “Category”
  • Removed columns that we felt was not needed:
  • Converted to prices from IDR to MYR
  • Converted the currency sign to from IDR to MYR

  • Finance & Accounting
  • Business
  • IT & Software
  • Lifestyle
