Latent Class Analysis (poLCA)

This report gives an insight of findings using Latent Class Analysis in R. This analysis was implemented using poLCA package, this package sadly doesn’t allow to include weights and complex sample parameters, it will be used to get an estimation of the analysis that will be implemented in Mplus for the final results. This final procedure will be performed running and extracting results with MplusAutomation package from R and retrieving same results as in this first part. Additional analysis should be performed to the final model, such as complete homogeneity and partial homogeneity.

Countries analyzed

It is important to mention that the countries were separated into European and Non-European countries, due to that only European countries have the immigration scale incorporated in the study in year 2016. For this reason, is not possible to combine them with European countries if we want to provide profiles using all scales in all years, for this countries only scales for ethnics-race and gender equality will be analyzed when merging all cycles.

The countries and their respective sample sizes included in the following analysis are shown in the following table .

T_IMMIEQ4 - Immigrants should have the opportunity to continue their own customs and lifestyle

Several analysis were done using this methodology. All of them were performed dividing the data into European and Non-European countries. Analysis were implemented using original response categories, otherwise indicated.
