Sweden has the same reported deaths to excess deaths (2020 deaths for any reason less average of such deaths 2016 to 2019) indicating that all all dead are tested for Covid 19 and then reported as Covid 19 deaths if positive regardless if Covid 19 was secondary or just related to the cause of death. This allows Sweden to have unusual clarity as to the presence and status of the epidemic. No other country has such pari pasu between excess deaths and reported Covid 19 deaths.
Sweden is mapped against Germany. Given the relentless infectiousness of Covid 19 ands while treatment is improving there is still no cure, it is thought all countries will replicate Sweden’s deaths to percentage infected, in time - that supression only serves to pause this process. Of course this does not consider a vaccine.
The cumulative integral, f(x) of normalized daily deaths to percentage of the population that have been infected seeks to summarize the current status of Sweden.
It is assumed that Sweden is the ‘base case’ and without suppression all countries will to various degrees replicate the Sedish case.
