Daniel and Linda have complete opposite takes on the last game; Linda pulling for Washington in a low-scoring affair, and Daniel pulling for Dallas in a shootout. This means that the minimum score that the winner will have is at least 3 – effecively eliminating Tim, Annika, Heather Hawkeye, Byron, and Beth. Also, since the picks for Neal, John & Ellen, Ella, Kristin, Matthew, Flip, and Minami match either Daniel’s or Linda’s, they can’t win either – better luck next year.
Thus, there’s still hope for Elaine, First son of a first son, George, and Sarah; but they can only hope for a share of the title.

Daniel and Minami making their selections official! Minami joining Matthew, Kristin, and Neal with selecting the Texans, the under in the Texans/Detroit game, the Cowboys and the under in the Cowboys/Football Team game. Do they know something the rest of us don’t?
Linda has a clear path to victory with a selection of picks that is completely unique. As do the combo team of “Ellen & John.” Will experience make the difference on Thursday? Only time will tell.

With only two games this year (Steelers/Ravens postponed due to … what else?), the chances of a shared title are much more likely. In fact, several entries for the games are identical. Tim and Annika have selected each of the games the same way. Similarly, Elaine and Alexa will be pulling for the same outcomes. Lastly, Matthew, Kristin, and Neal have all turned in identical picks. It’s still anybody’s best guess on the evening before the big contest.
At the time of this writing, we are still missing an entry from last-year’s co-champion, George Urness. Undoubtedly, he is still crunching numbers and analyzing last-minute depth charts before making his picks official.
