Q1 What is the title of the screencast?

The title of this screencast is called “AnAlyzing NCAA Women’s Basketball”. ## Q2 When was it published? This screencast was published on October 6th, 20202. ## Q3 Describe the data Hint: What’s the source of the data; what does the row represent; how many observations?; what are the variables; and what do they mean?

The data is very complicated. David looks at the ways in which the teams of the NCAA tournament got into the brackets and relatively the seeds that they obtain repectively. He also looks at the data in which the teams in each seed win to show that the teams ranked higher tend to be in the tournament longer and results in a climactic final game as the top seeds will eventually play eachother.

Q4-Q5 Describe how Dave approached the analysis each step.

Hint: For example, importing data, understanding the data, data exploration, etc. In analyzing the data of the Women’s Basketball david inserted code chunks comparing the tounrey wins against the regualr season wins as well as tourey losses and reguar season loses creating a graph and seeing rouhgly a linear graph. In importing the data David used the tidytemplate to bring over the data into the rstudio file. David understood the data be looking over the ranked seeds and teams and comparing that to the overall championships and the relations to champions and seeds in the tournament. David explored the data by going over the graphs created by comparing various data sets and seeing the relationships between the data sets.

Q6 Did you see anything in the video that you learned in class? Discuss in a short paragraph.

When David was exploring the data i noticed that by incoporating the inser code chunk option he was able to use certain formulas to create a graph to illustrate the data which was very similar to what we did with the histograms and bar graphs throughout our quizes. ddavid also used similar functions that we incorporated including means and averages to figure out the coorelation through the years similar to when we used the mean function to figure out the mean sales and mean prices. Similar to our class inusing the tables as rows and collumns for data DaVid used the rows and columns to figure out the data surounding the different conferences and how that coorelates to championship winners.

Q7 What is a major finding from the analysis.

The major finding of this screencast was to see the top teams that generally dominate the tournament in women’s basketball which was UCONN at number 1 as well as seeing the top conferences that win the most games generally which was the Big East and the ACC that perform best in the tournament once in. ## Q8 What is the most interesting thing you really liked about the analysis. The major thing that stood out in this screencast for me was when he was analyzing several graphs at one time and was able to incorporate all graphs together to see either comparisons or differences in the graphs itself. This was very interesting as we only worked with one graph at a time and analyzed one rather than him being able to incorporate different analyzing factors in one setting. ## Q9 Display the title and your name correctly at the top of the webpage.

Q10 Use the correct slug.
