The experiments of optical illusions can contribute to the decision-making process studies and analyses. Each of the following images has particular aspects, but all of them are distorted or moved by our vision. These illusions can be part of a questionnaire or interview for decision-makers either in public or private sector with the purpose of identifying conflicts of interest, biased opinions and behaviour.
Kohske Takahashi conducts research on cognitive psychology and cognitive neuroscience at the University of Tokyo’s Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology. He’s re-created some classic optical illusions using R, as part of an upcoming workshop on illusions.
