The University of Liberia customarily administers entrance and placement exams as part of the vetting process of admission. The test is intended to help determine selection of those who are at least capable of doing college course work without further high school preparation.
This year 2020 SECOND ENTRANCE REGISTRATION runs from November 9, 2020 to November 26, 2020.
CUT-OFF POINTS FOR THE UNDERGRADUATE COLLEGES
REGULAR PASS candidates are those who will score at least 50% in Mathematics and at least 50% in English. REGULAR PASS candidates may register for up to 18 credit hours during their first semester in a college of the University of Liberia.
PROVISIONAL PASS candidates are those who will score less than 50% in Mathematics or less than 50% in English but obtained an average score of at least 50% when their mathematics and English scores are combined. PROVISIONAL PASS candidates may register for up to 12 or 13 credit-hours during their first semester in a college of the University of Liberia. The credit hours should include Freshman Mathematics and Freshman English.
UNSUCCESSFUL candidates are those who will have an average score of less than 50% when their mathematics and English scores are combined. UNSUCCESSFUL candidates must register again for another UL entrance examination and obtain a pass mark/grade in that exam before they can gain entry to the University of Liberia.
ABSENT: Candidates who registered for the University of Liberia entrance but will not turn out for the Entrance Examination. Candidates that will be absent must register again for another UL entrance examination and obtain a pass mark/grade in that exam before they can gain entry to the University of Liberia.
NOT ALLOWED TO SIT THE EXAMS : Those Candidates that registered with fake Bank Deposit Slips but are later discovered by the BFO team during the Bank Deposit Slips verification.
DISQUALIFIED FOR CHEATING: Candidates that could be caught in Exams malpratices.
Exam Nummber Wrongly Shaded : Candidates who will wrongly shade their Exam numbers will not receive marks in any of the two subjects.
DEFINITIONS OF KEY TERMS
COMPANY SCHOOLS : Those schools that are built and run by companies. The children of the company’s employees attend these schools.
COMMUNITY SCHOOLS: Those schools that are established or built through communiy initiative and/ or County Development Projects. These schools will later transition to public schools.
PRIVATE SCHOOLS : Those schools that are run or established by indiviuals.
FAITH-BASED SCHOOLS: Those schools that are run or established by religious institutions.
PUBLIC SCHOOLS : Government owned schools
BFO: Business and Finance Office
GS : Graduate Schools

The Undergraduate Programs
Two thousand, four hundred seventy (2,470) Undergraduate candidates completed the registration process; One thousand, three hundred ninety-three (1,393 or 56.40%) of the candidates are males while one thousand, seventy-seven (1,077 or 43.60%) are females;
Fourteen (14) candidates completed the registration process for the College of General Studies;
The Graduate and Professional Schools
Sixty-nine (69) candidates completed the registration process for the Graduate Programs Aptitude Test;
Ten (10) candidates completed the registration process for the School of Pharmacy Aptitude Test;

The Second Entrance Exams
The Second Entrance Exams 2020 for the Undergraduate Colleges, the College of General Studies, STRAZ Sinje Technical and Vocational School along with the Apitude Tests for the Graduate Schools, the School of Pharmacy and the Law School will be administered on ** Saturday December 5, 2020**.
The registration for these Exams will begin on Monday November 9, 2020 and will end on Thursday, November 26, 2020.
Worshop for the Exams will be on Wednesday, December 2, 2020;
The Workshop will begin on Fenndall Campus at 11:00 am and will later begin at 2pm on the Capitol Campus;

Facilitators for Capitol Hill Campus: Assistant Professor Calvin Alvin Gaye, Department of Physics and Assistant Professor Moses S. E. Hinneh, Jr., Head, Center for Testing and Evaluation;
December 3, 2020: POD prepares the classrooms for the candidates;
December 4, 2020: CTE Staff will inspect POD arrangemen;

Examination Time table for December 5, 2020
Preparation for the first Test(Subject) will start at 8:45:00am and will end at 9 : 59 am
EVERY SUBJECT WILL RUN FOR 2-HOURS;
The first subject will start at 10am and will end at 12 noon;
30 minutes break will be given after the first test;
Recess will last from 12:01pm to 12:31pm
Preparation for the second and last Test will start at 12: 32pm and will end at 12 : 59 pm
The last test will start at 1:00 pm and will end at 3pm
3:01 pm to 3: 59 pm: Collection and reporting of exam materials by Examiners
4:00 pm to 5:30 pm, Collection of allowances from the Testing Center staff by Supervisors, Examiners, Proctors, securities, Jenitors, etc
