Tier 2 of the Cooperative Training Program will cover Ownership culture and Leadership Developement, addressing topics such as organizational development, making successful meetings, financial projections, business development, and employee engagement training. The first of two sections will look at Democratic Management best practices using the Democracy at Work Institute (DAWI)’s newly developed Democratic Management Toolkit. Through this toolkit we will explore a broad look at how democratic management can be implemented for better businesses, organizations, and communities, and how skill building for long term demogcratic managemnt influences our abilities to implement cooperative Management Models. Lastly, we will do a deep dive into Opem Book Management and what it means to use cooperative culture to instill and invite ownership skills and financial empowerment.
