The present app was built with the goal of visualize the impact of COVID-19 in south american countries. All the information used in this study was obtained from the “European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control”website
This tab contains choropleths maps of South America with imbebed total statistics filtered by time window. The user can swap between infections, deaths and fatality rate . Note there’s a play button where the data is interactively updated.
This section contains time series line plots divided by countries ir order to compare the daily variation of each one of the variables.
Finally , this tab allows the user to visualize the data used in the last sections by an interactive table that is able to filter each of the variables according to the criteria of the user. Note that there’s also a “download button” for getting the data in a “csv” format for further studies.
