Education Background

Professional Experience

While at Kenyon College, I spent a semester in France and decided to persue a career with an international focus and acquired my first job working for Rotary International in Evanston, IL. While I loved this role, I realized that I missed working with people on a regular basis. It was at that point that I relocated with my now husband to Portland, Oregon and started a role in a Learning Assistance Center at Mt. Hood Community College. I found my niche in higher education and worked at Mt. Hood community College until returning home to Cincinnati.

At the University of Cincinnati, I have spent most of my career at Clermont College in the following roles:

  • Testing Services Coordinator
  • Senior Acaemic Advisor
  • Director, Testing Services, Orientation and Enrollment Analytics
  • Senior Institutional Research Data Analyst

It is because of this last role that I have been pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Data Analytics which should be completed in the upcoming Spring Semester.

Experience with R

I have limited experience with R. This is the second course that I have taken that uses R so I have a beginner’s understanding of it but have not utilized it much it my professional roles. I was recently centralized to UC Clifton where I am 100% in the Office of Institutional Research so I am hoping to gain a deeper understanding that will help me in this new role.

Experience with Other Analytic Software

I have limited experience with other Analytic software as well. I have beginner level knowledge in SAS and SPSS and have the most experience utilizing Tableau. I use Excel with ASAP Utilities, Tableau and UC’s database query tools the most to perform my role.
