Hi, my name is Tyler Bellman! I currently work for Fifth Third Bank. At Fifth Third, I am in the Capital Markets deparment. I have been there for just over a year and really enjoy my position.

Professional Background
During my undergrad career at UC, I was working for Fifth Third Bank in their Operations Leadership Program. In the program I was doing rational internships where I learned about Mortgage Servicing, Bacorp Loan and Card Services, and Consumer Tax Reporting - Domestic and Foreign.
After obtaining my bachelor degree, I began working for COPFCU. A local credit union here in the Cincinnati area. I served as an Operations Manager where I assisted in business functions including:
- Strategic Planning
- Core System Conversions
- Retail Deposit Operations & Sales
- Compliance and Regulatory Governance
After working for COPFCU, I decided to rejoin Fifth Third Bank where I currently work as a Capital Markets Analyst. Within this role I provide various support in deriviative swaps and hedging interest rate risk.
Experience with R
My experience with R is really limited to this class. However, I am motivated to continue learning all that I can. So far, I have enjoyed exploring this language and the possibilites that it offers.
Experiene with Other AnalyticalSoftwares
I have learned other analytical and code languages such as SAS and SQL during my time here in the graduate certiciate program at UC. My weakness with these other languages is that I have not been able to use them in a professional setting, rather just educational. I hope to eventually apply my knowledge in the workforce.
