I have a major in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems (MIS) along a dual minor in both Economics and Information Technology (IT).
Why am I interested in R?
These factors interest me in R:
- R is popular for use in statistical analysis
- R has several packages/ libraries to make for effective use
- R is very similar to certain applications of Python for analysis
Goals
Goals for R usage:
- Learn another new skill for data analysis
- Understand how analysis works using a programming language
Experience with other analytic software
I have previously worked with Stata and Python for data analytics and machine learning.
