Install R

R is a free software available in the CRAN download page

Windows

Installing R on Windows is very straightforward. Select Download R for Windows as showed in the following Figure.

Then click on install R for the first time.

Then click on Download R 4.0.3 for Windows.

When the download is complete, install it on your computer as any other software.

For mac users, click on Download R for (Mac) OS X and R-4.0.3.pkg.

When the download is complete, install the R-4.0.3.pkg on your computer as any other software.

For Linux users, click on Download R for Linux, select your linux distribution (Ubuntu, Suze, …) and follow the command lines

You need to go to RStudio website and download

and then choose the FREE version .

Finally, select you favorite OS (windows, mac or linux) and follow instructions.

If you managed to install R and RStudio correctly, you can open RStudio and see how it looks like. You are now ready to use R
