Statistics, Equity, and Social Justice

Goals for small-group discussion

• Begin a discussion about the intersection of Statistics and equity and social justice issues

  • Identify and share resources for investigating these intersections

• Create a brave and safe space within our Chapter community for discussing social equity and justice

• Begin brainstorming ways to amplify the voices and visibility of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color within Statistics as a discipline, profession, and in the classroom.
