PLOTTING A SIMPLE SCATTERPLOT

library(plotly)
plot_ly(mtcars,x=mtcars$wt,y=mtcars$mpg,color=mtcars$cyl,mode="markers")
## Warning: `arrange_()` is deprecated as of dplyr 0.7.0.

This would simply plot a scatterplot between wt and mpg of cars.

The colors are distinguished based on cyl values.

REGRESSION ANALYSIS ON THE DATA SET FOR PREDICTION

p<-ggplot(mtcars,aes(x=wt,y=mpg))+geom_point(size=3,color=mtcars$cyl)+geom_smooth(aes(color=mtcars$cyl))
ggplotly(p)
## Warning: Use of `mtcars$cyl` is discouraged. Use `cyl` instead.

IF WE ARE INTERESTED TO PLOT THE REGRESSION LINE IN THE PLOT WE CAN UTILISE THE GGPLOT FUNCTIONS PROVIDED IN PLOTLY PACKAGE.

THIS GIVES A BASIC REGRESSION EXAMPLE, WHERE ggplot DRAWS THE PLOT.

IF WE WANT TO SHOW THE DATA POINTS THE geom_point IS USED.THE COLOR AND ATTRIBUTES OF THE LOCATING POINTS CAN BE MANIPULATED IN geom_point.

TO SHOW THE REGRESSION LINE GGPLOT HAS FUNCTION geom_smooth. THIS ADDS A REGRESSION LINE TO THE PLOT.
