Exploring Unemployment

In this presentation we will explore unemployment across several Upper Middle Income countries. In order to obtain the datasets, we will use the data360r by Ma. Regina Paz Onglao-Drilon (2020). Data360r has a set of four primary functions namely:

• get_data360
• get_metadata360r
• get_resources360
• search360

The functions offer access to important data dictionaries such as country metadata, indicator metadata and other datasets available on the World Bank’s data bank

Uemployment: Upper Middle Income Countries

The figure below illustrates unemployment as a percentage of the total labour force among Upper Middle Income countries for the period 1999 - 2019. For easier exploration, the figure is separated into regions.
