Slope represents the acceleration of a trend corresponding to x axis.The slope of regression line is calculated by arctangent of regression coefficient and radian to degree conversion. After obtaining the value from acrtangent and radian to degree conversion, the figure is divided by 90 and multiplied by 2.
Slope varies between 0 and 2. If slope is more than 1, than there is domain of exponential acceleration and if slope is less than 1, than there is slower acceleration.
The Gauge graphs for slope of COVID tests, confirmed, recovered and deaths at India level as on 2020-08-07 are shown in below. section. The gauge will change as per the Slope. The gauge will be red if slope value is more than 1.05, yellow if between 1.05 and 0.95 and green if slope is less than 0.95.
The line graphs shows the slope values on 7 Day Rolling Regression basis.
