Covid-19 or SARS-CoV2 is an infectious disease, first identified in Wuhan, China in 2019.
In the past few months, it spread across the globe and has infected over 18 million people worldwide and cost more than 690.000 deaths.

Using data from the Covid-19 Data repository from the CSSE at Johns Hopkins University and shiny, the spread of the disease in individual countries as well as the global situation can be visualised easily.

The Covid-19 Liveticker has following features

• a heat map of the total/active cases or deaths per country created with leaflet
• a detailed plot of either total or daily cases/recoveries/deaths
• a summary of the current state of the of the selected country

The same interactive Map is featured in the app and shows active Covid-19 Cases per country.
