Word Predictor 9000 uses the 146 000 most common 5-grams, 100 000 most common 4-grams, 40 000 3-grams and 85 000 2-grams to predict your next word. Instead of a complicated Markov-Chain, this method only weighs in at 21.3 Mb in size and could easily fit your old phone, and is computationally much, much faster than competitors using more advanced features.
A markov chain created from only a sample of 2000 in the corpus used weigs in a almost 5 Gb, pressing your device for storage you’d rather use for something else.
Word Predictor 9000 takes just 0.084 to predict from a common 3-gram, and gives 5 good guesses for what you wanna write next, most of the time.
