This is an R Markdown document. Markdown is a simple formatting syntax for authoring HTML, PDF, and MS Word documents. For more details on using R Markdown see http://rmarkdown.rstudio.com.
When you click the Knit button a document will be generated that includes both content as well as the output of any embedded R code chunks within the document. You can embed an R code chunk like this:
library(knitr)
library(rCharts)
library(dplyr)
##
## Attaching package: 'dplyr'
##
## The following object is masked from 'package:stats':
##
## filter
##
## The following objects are masked from 'package:base':
##
## intersect, setdiff, setequal, union
data <- read.csv("/home/hugh/Dropbox/Teaching/SUD402_Winter2014/Labs/new-gary-survey-latest-only-public.csv")
ws <- filter(data, neighborhood == "West Side", structure.grade == "poor")
map3 <- Leaflet$new()
map3$setView(c(41.583313, -87.33782), zoom = 12)
map3$tileLayer(provider = 'Stamen.TonerLite')
for (i in 1:nrow(ws)) {
map3$marker(c(ws[i, "lat"], ws[i, "long"]), bindPopup = ws[i, "address"])
}
You can also embed plots, for example:
Note that the echo = FALSE
parameter was added to the code chunk to prevent printing of the R code that generated the plot.
