I’d believe, just like me many people would be looking towards the first move of their Career Transition in Business Analytics/ Data Science and it makes no offence for an Individual working into Operations/ Support and transitioning to Data Analytics. It’s never too late to make a move into something that excites you, however it is equally important you make the move at the earliest for some genuine reasons.
To start working on transitioning your career be it any area, all you need is to identify what are you passionate about or what exactly ignites the fire in you and the second most important thing is identifying the right approach and stay focused to that approach. I’m not here to promote any Institute or anyone in person. It is up to you to decide what path you choose that can lead to your dream Career.
I started my career as an Operations Executive in a well-known IT giant, as I was recruited in Campus Placement it was no less then a dream come true to work with a Tech Giant. Later some time, I realized this is not something that excites me any longer and that is when I started exploring data within my role, it is the data that ignites the flame in me. Playing around with data, generating business insights from data is all I have always dreamt off. I started exploring different paths that may lead to Data Science and enrolled myself for PGP-BABI at Great Lakes Institute of Management. That became the stepping stone for my new journey towards Data Science.
Data Science is no Rocket Science, it is an art of understanding Data that can be further used to generate insights for any business. All you need is the passion to work on Data, little knowledge on Statistics and Mathematics and the most importantly the right path that can lead you towards your new journey.
