Q6 What would be a possible project you may turn in for the competition? Describe it in at least 100 words.

This competition is a case study. The competition offers courses and practice cases you can do leading up to the competition. The comeptition offers may resocres to its competitors. The investment banking courses is to master financial modeling and company valuation. I can not see what needs to be sent in to this competition unless I register.

Q7 List things that you learned in financial modeling course that could be helpful for your project in Q6. Describe it in at least 100 words.

One of the cases examples the competition gives you is a detailed spread sheet with a ton of equations. I was thinking for this competition I could take what I have learned from R studio to create detail graphs and charts for this case. Making my display as visual appealing as possible which would sperate myself from the other competition.

Q8 List things that you learned in other finance courses at PSU that could be helpful for your project in Q6. Describe it in at least 100 words.

For this competition skills I have learned in this finance class and my others will come into play. However I belive that having the practice of doing cases before will come into play here. Having the experience of understanding what a case will entail will be a great help in this competition.

Q9 Check the finance blog below and see if you see any post that may be helpful for your project in Q6. Discuss how it can be helpful in at least 100 words. Hint: The author of the blog writes articles on financial analysis using R. https://rviews.rstudio.com/categories/reproducible-finance-with-r/

Im sure one of these blogs will help durring this competiton as of right now. However because this is a national competion they do not give an early look at the case study. You will not know what your case topic is until you are registered for the competition. However these blogs are a wonderful rescores to use, especially when it comes to creating graphs.

Q10 List things that you think could be helpful but not taught/offered at PSU finance courses. Discuss how it can be helpful in at least 100 words.

I belive something useful that could be taught at PSU finance courses would be a intro course on taxes. Most college students do not understand taxes and how they work, myself being one of them. Im sure an intro to taxes course would be very benificial to any student at PSU. I would absoultey take an intro to taxes course just to get a basic understand of taxes.
