Many years ago, the point guard (PG)position in basketball was traditonally percieved as the player responsible for handling the ball and facilitating plays for all other team members, not as much as a scorer. Stephen Curry, Golden State Warrior PG is one of the players who revolutionized the position by the way he handles, scores and shoots the basketball. Curry- a player who was regarded as an underdog at the collegiate level- was able to progress to the professional level and surprise everyone by establishing himself as one of the best shooters in the NBA. He singelehandedly made it acceptable for players to launch three pointers from well behind the arc, establishing that what was typically deemed a “difficult”” shot for others is the norm for him. Nowadays, all around the globe, people mimic their style of basketball after his and try to emulate the ways he navigates the game of basketball.

According to the ESPN statistics, the graph above shows Stephen Curry consistency over the years. Curry is an elite player and it goes without saying that he suceeds at what he does on the court. Some would even go as far to say that Curry is one of those once in a lifetime players that can not be guarded. In the 2015-2016 NBA season, Stephen Curry averaged thirty points and arguably had one of the best single seasons an NBA player ever had. To top it all he also secured a championship ring that year, sensationalizing the Golden State Wariors and establishing them as the team of the West. As a main pilar of any team it is your job to lead your team through obstacles and it is remarkeble to always see how Curry executes that ideal within in big games.

Stephen Curry took the world by storm with his shooting ability, his scouting report listed him as a shooter but the basketaball community was not prepared for how strong of a shooter he really was. Stephen Curry can shoot the basketball from virtually anywhere as soon as he crosses half court. As a volume shooter you would think that his shooting percentage would be low but as you can see above how consistent his percentage remain over the years

overall it is always good to acknolege greatness and withness a generational talent accomplish the impossible right in front of our eyes. given the fact that he is still in his prime,i can not wait to see his next accomplishment.
