analyzing space launches in R
Jan 15, 2019
Hint: What’s the source of the data; what does the row represent; how many observations?; what are the variables; and what do they mean? Source: JSR LAunch Vehicle Database Row: each row is a different launch i dont know how many observations. tag (harvard or COSPAR id of launch), JD (Julian date of launch), Launch date (date of launch), launch year (year of launch), type (type of launch vehicle), varient (varient of launch vehicle), mission (mission), agency (launching agency), state code (launching agencys state), catagory (success(O) or failure(F)), agency type (type of agency)
Hint: For example, importing data, understanding the data, data exploration, etc. he clicked the link. then he looked at launches by state, private, and startup. he then looked at launches by country. then he looked at number of launches and time by craft.
He made a line graph with number of launches by country. it was a pretty cool visualization of counties space mitions by year. being able to see when and how many missions each country did was interesting.
that countryes launch rockets as well as asmall amount of private companies. within recent years country launches have gone down and privet launches have risen. It was also looked at russian vehicles and their launch lives. as in how many times they got launched and for how lomg the vehicles were used.
I thiught looking at each rockets life was really cool. being able to visually see the lifespan of each shuttle was interesting.
