Introduction

Climate change and science has been an issue for discussion and debate for at least the last decade. Climate data collection is currently being collected for areas all over the world. Policy decisions are based on the most recent analysis conducted on data extracted from huge online repositories of this data. Due to the inherent growth in the electronic production and storage of information, there is often a feeling of “information overload” or inundation when facing the process of quantitative decision making.

The goal of this dashboard is to reseach public climate data and create an information dashboard that will be helpful to develop questions based on the data exploration.

Observations and questions

By visualize snow depth and precipitation in two stations and two cities, I observerd the following: 1. In city Danvers, MA,2018, it rains through the year bur relatively less precipition in summer time. 2. In city Danvers, MA,2018, it snows heavily in spring. But the earlies snow was in December. 3. In Ingham County, Michigan, we saw a huge spike in precipition in 2004. 4. Number of days with snow depth greater than 1 inch in Ingham County, Michigan from 2000 to 2010 was stable.
