Dirk Nowitzki is a German basketball player who has played in the NBA since 1998. Dirk was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks and played for the Mavericks for his entire career. He was drafted at 20 years old and played as a power forward and a center. Dirk retired from the NBA last year at the age of 41 after a long 21 seasons. He ranks sixth in NBA history with over 31,000 career points and led the Mavericks to their first NBA title in the 2010-11 season. Standing at 7 feet tall, Dirk has accumulated many rebounds in his career, which will be the focus of the following charts. He also was named the NBA MVP in the 2007 season. In 2008, he became the franchise’s all-time scoring leader.

Dirk’s highest TRB was in the 2016-17 season at 14.4% and his lowest TRB was in 2018-19 season when it was 10.6%. The x-axis is significant of the seasons in ascending order and the y axis is significant of the TRB%. Since Dirk plays as a power forward and center his TRB% is higher overall than, per say, a point guard, who would spend less time right near the hoop. According to BasketballReference.com, Dirk has 10,000 rebounds.
