In this assignment I use dataset USArrests as the base, and bind the State and Region to apply to different facets. The original assumption was that income and the number of murders should be negatively related with each other, doesn’t matter in which region or state. However, as we can see from the four charts, only South region matches the assumption, the other three regions, although it’s not positively related, some states with higher income have more number of murders than some states with lower income. Therefore, I explore the other two factors incuding population and illiteracy, and turns out those two factros seems more positively related than income does.
