Developing Data Products - R Markdown and Leaflet

INTRODUCTION

This project was created as part of the Developing Data Products course of the Coursera Data Science Specialization. The goal of the project is to create a web page using R Markdown that features a map created with Leaflet, and to host the resulting web page on either GitHub Pages, RPubs, or NeoCities.

For this project we are going to show three natural wonders of Venezuela, although this country is currently going through a serious economic and social crisis as a result of a socialist and totalitarian government, the country has beautiful and wonderful places to visit once a change of government occurs.

DATA

The data for this project are the locations of the national parks:

1.- Archipiélago Los Roques.

2.- Salto Angel.

3.- Pico Roraima.

Natural wonders of Venezuela

1.- Archipiélago Los Roques lat=11.8566 - lng=-66.7665:

The paradise made beaches that can be enjoyed all year round.

2.- Salto Angel lat=5.95 - lng=-62.5:

Natural monument that contains the highest waterfall in the world and from which the UP film was inspired.

3.- Pico Roraima lat=5.2 - lng=-60.7333333:

The oldest geological formation on the planet.
