HOW TO USE
* This ML application is useful in screening the resumes of the candidates who applied for a job description. The manual resume screening is very tedious and time consuming task and manual process also have inherent biases like experience of HR manager, giving undue favors to particular candidates and profiles of candidates, lack of time and very high number of applicants.
* To use this application, create a folder “testParser”.
* Search for a job on google you want to apply for.
* Click on the job you want to apply from the google listing or any job web aggregator.
* Copy the job description part from the listing and paste it in notepad file and save the file with “jd.txt” extension in “testParser’ folder.
* Copy your resume from PDF or Word file and paste it in notepad and save the file with filename”resume.txt" in “testParser” folder.
* Download the source code from the upper right corner and set working directory to make “testParser” accessible.
* The scores in valueBoxes are in the range 0 and 1. If score is more closure to 1, the resume is matching with the job description quite well and if score is more closure to 0, the resume is mismatching with the job description.

DISCLAIMER
* > The authors’s intent is here to showcase how HR automation can be done with the help of machine learning algorithms – like Jaccard Similarity Index, overLap Index etc. It is not advised to use it for professional decision making as this requires addressing more complext issues of HR recruitment with more machine learning tweaking. The application is the simplest form of machine learning application for HR automation.
