Who is Hardik Gupta?

Hi! I am Hardik Gupta, currently a full-time graduate student at Carl H Lindner College of Business at University of Cincinnati. I am pursuing Master’s in Business Analytics and plan to graduate in summer 2020.

• Master’s in Business Analytics from UC, Ohio-USA
• Bachelor’s in Information Technology from SIT, Pune-IN
• Diploma in Business Management from SIBM, Pune-IN

Professional Background

• After obtaining my bachelor’s degree, I joined Syntel, India office, as a Software Engineer and worked there for 2.5 years on Salesforce projects and some basic data analysis for Moody’s.
• In 2017 I switched to a firm called Palin Analytics where I worked on multiple analytics projects across various industries.

Experience with R

Prior to this course I had worked on SAS and R, I used these softwares at my previous organizations for some basic operations on data related to cleaning and visualization as most of my work was SQL specific.

Experience with Other Analytic software

I was aware of most of the data analysis softwares being used in the industry prior to joining this course, but now I have a better understanding of these softwares since now I have got more hands on experience and also understand the statistical concepts better.
