Hi I am Keya. I am currently pursuing my Master of Science in Information Systems, with Data Analytics certificate at the Carl H. Lindner College of Business. I am a data science enthusiast. Passionate and optimistic, I always look to evolve and make positive changes in the world.

Academic Background

Professional Background

After graduating from West Bengal University of Technology, I started working as a Quality Analyst at Larsen and Toubro Group of Companies, India, where I oversaw software quality for an Insurance client. Later I started working as a Data Analyst for the Business Unit CoE team. During my tenure, I understood the impacts of Marketing Mix on marketplace dynamics and developed robust frameworks to assess tradeoffs between marketing initiatives and improved regional decision making by continuously validating and refining assumptions. I started with MBA after 2 years and am currently pursuing my Master’s in Information Systems. I aspire to pursue a career as a Program Manager in the future.

Experience in R

R has been my preferred programming language for data analysis since the past 2 years. I use R a lot for data cleaning, exploratory data analysis, supervised learning and text mining. I am currently learning unsupervised learning and NLP this semester.

Experience with other Analytic Software

Apart from R, I am proficient in Excel and use it a lot for analysis and visualization. The other analytics and data visualization software in which I have working knowledge includes:
