After graduating from VIT Univeristy, I joined Publicis Sapient in 2015 as Associate Technology(Data). I had a great time there working for 2 years. In August 2017, I left Sapient as I wanted a change in my life. I joined a Not-for-profit organisation Evidyaloka, which aimed at teaching less priviliged students in rural areas of India. I worked as a content creator for almost 6 months, it gave me a time of from the busy city life and I figured out a lot of things personally. I joined a FinTech startup, Smartcoin Financials as a Data Analyst in May 2018 and later Latentview Analytics.

  • Implemented Sentiment Analysis on text reviews for a multinational e-commerce website using text analytics.
  • Incorporated text mining, tokenization, Part-of-speech(POS),subjectivity and tone, context and emoji tagging in the analysis.

Data Analyst — April 2018 – February 2019
  • Formulated user segmentation which helped in categorizing new users into different buckets by analyzing user data and past behavior through various features.
  • Led a team of 2 analysts to design Fraud Engine Tracker by devising a 3 point plan to prevent new fraudulent users on the platform by analyzing loan patterns and in-app behavior , thereby reducing net default to 10% from 11.3%.
  • Devised new features for machine Learning model (Repeat Users), trained and tuned model by refining parameters for optimum results thus increasing the AUC to 88% from 79%.
  • Created Analytical Dashboards of important metrics to boost data driven decision making and transparency.

  • Formulated innovation strategies with a team of 3 analysts for a US based fortune 500 departmental store venturing into e-commerce domain for the first time.
  • Identified important metrics, coined (CTR) click through rate leading to strengthened tracking of website’s performance and understanding of customer behavior, eventually better redesigning of website.
  • Identified business opportunities, designed promotions, campaigns to present customizations for the new website to the client.
