Connecting to NYT API

I will connect to the NYT books API and extract information about the best-sellers. Please note: I have created an R script that takes user input and for date and desired genre of book and outputs the list of bestsellers. However, R Markdown files cannot take user input so I simply demonstrate basic functionality here. I encourage you to view the R Script as well.
