About Me
Hi, I am Dikshita Barman, a graduate student at the University of Cincinnati pursuing Information Systems. I have over two years of experience as a Business Technology Analyst at Deloitte.
I love to explore different activities and have trained myself in table tennis, air pistol shooting and swimming. I am also trained in an Indian classical dance form - Odissi. I have a passion of writing short stories and I wish to write a fictional book in the future or maybe many books!

After my undergraduation from Amity University, I was working in the IT Consulting industry where I have delivered data integration projects in the domain of Life Sciences & Healthcare.
Deloitte (April 2017 - July 2019)
- Involved in a cross-functional team in an agile environment to generate reports for a Fortune 100 healthcare firm on net program savings by the recovery of claim amounts
- My primary expertise includes analysis in the big data framework with proficiency in SQL, Hive and the Spark engine
Experience in R
I learnt R programming language at the University of Cincinnati where I was part of a bootcamp. Additionally, I have done a course of Data Analysis and Methods using the R programming knowledge and have succesfully completed a project on predicting sold prices of houses in Cincinnati.
