Introduction to Me!

Hello! My name is Rahul Bhasin. I am a full-time Master of Business Analytics at the University of Cincinnati and currently working as a Graduate Assistant at UC Center for Business Analytics. I am an Analytics Professional with over 4 years of work experience in data science and business analytics industry.

I was born and raised in Delhi - a wonderful city, very close to my heart. I love reading, watching sci-fi videos and listening to Punjabi music. My dream is to visit 100+ countries and all 7 continents around the world before I turn 50. My favorite quote is ~ “Be the change you wish to see in the world!”

I have 4+ years of professional experience in building end-to-end Machine Learning and Data Science solutions for Fortune 500 companies in Retail, eCommerce, and Oil & Gas sectors. I have worked on multiple client projects pertaining to AI-Chatbots, Natural Language Processing, Predictive Modeling, etc.

• UC Center for Business Analytics - Cincinnati, Ohio (Aug 2019 – Present)

  My current role at UC CBA involves performing machine learning, data mining and data analysis for corporate clients to help them solve their business problems. I am also responsible for organizing and facilitating workshops to educate member firms about the latest programming languages and analytical tools.

• Accenture - Gurugram, India (Jun 2017 – Aug 2019)

  I worked as an Analytics Analyst at Accenture for multiple in retail and oil and gas industries, and added value to the client’s business by providing actionable business insights and building predictive models. During my tenure at Accenture, some of the projects I worked upon were Geospatial Predictive Modeling and Analysis, Sentiment Analysis and Topic Extraction and Cross-sell Modeling, etc.

• Opera Solutions - New Delhi, India (Jul 2015 – Jun 2017)

  After my under-graduation, I worked as a Research and Data Analyst at Opera Solutions, where I got the opportunity to develop analytical solutions for a fortune 10 retail client to personalize customer experiences.
