In this document, I aimed to map out the relative distance that The Proclaimers would walk, as claimed in their song titled “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)”. For this map, a handful of assumptions were made. For all intents and purposes, we assume the following:

• The starting location is the hometown of The Proclaimers: Auchtermuchty, Scotland.
• This song was played on repeat to motivate me to map this.

This map identifies the starting location where the proclaimers would have started their walk. The circle in Cyan-blue details the area of first 500 miles (approx. 805km) where they could end. The dark blue circle identifies the area thye could end, after walking another 500 miles, as per described in their song.
