How does female representation fare across concentrations?

There are 36 concentrations at Harvard College, sorted into 5 categories. Individual concentrations have huge variation not only in total enrollment, but also in the percentage of students enrolled that are female. The following plot displays each concentration in each year as a point, sized by the total enrollment, and along the y-axis based on the percentage of concentration enrollment that is female. Additionally, a line for each concentration category is included to give reference to the percentage of enrollment in each category that is female.

Interestingly, the above plot demonstrates that humanities concentrations are most heavily female while SEAS concentrations are most heavily male. There also seems to be some indication that larger concentrations generally have smaller percentages of female students than other concentrations.
