In the article, “U.S. Media Polarization and the 2020 Election: A Nation Divided”, the Journalists show that the United States is being divided politically with the people. There have been 2 sides, which one side is Democratic side and the other side would be the Republican side. Recently, there are sources that are saying that Democrats has been trusting certain media and news channels than the Republicans. Republicans place their trust in one source, Fox News, more than any other news station and even for political news.

In the article, whenever a political event like the Presidential election occurs, people would try to find the best and accurate ways to get answers and find a way to know what is truly happening in that event. It is solely depended on trust and distrust of people that will give us an answer.

  There are many different ways for to collect data, however, the best ways people would be electronic/internet surveys because in this generation, technology is advancing too much and people are more likely to type or use their phones to answer some questions on their phones.

The process analyst get their data is by understanding how one news station is popularity is more than the other. They would also need to find the connection between Democrats and Republicans, and when does the two sides have the most tension between each other. Then they would need to conduct a survey and ask questions related to Presidential elections and what news channel they would most likely watch it from. As a result, they will calculate the score with some statistical coding program and conduct a bar chart that shows what news channel that the Democratic and Republican use.
