Some analysis on the books read by people in this group, in particular in the 1001 books list of course, using the Goodreads API and some webscraping.
I used the listopia to get the list of all books and their goodreads identifiers. Then I browse the members of this group, and in order to keep computations in a reasonable time, I only look at the books read by people who have left at least one comment in the group. This is 2049 members, but some of these members have a private profile, so I could not see what they read. In the end I have data for 1423 members.
The data has been retrieved December 26th 2019.
Group members seem to be hard to please, only 210 books have a better rating by the member of the group than in average on Goodreads
In the plot below, each point represents a book. If the color is green, then the book has a better average rating among members of the group, the color is red otherwise. The lighter colors are for books which have 10 ratings or less by members of the group.

On average, every active member of the group has read 83 books.
The median is 53 books, which means that 50% of the members have read less than 53 books.
The minimum is 1 book and the maximum 1281 books.
