I completed the “Introduction to Data” and “Exploratory Data Analysis” courses. I chose these courses because I wanted to dive a little bit deeper into what we have already been learning about data analysis. I feel like both courses had videos that were too long, with not enough information relevant to the actual coding. There was quite a bit of information given regarding topics I learned in my Statistics and Analytics classes, but not enough talking about the actual codes and functions to be used in R.
I liked the “Introduction to Data” course, because I feel like it was a little bit challenging without being too difficult. I think that it would have been beneficial for me to do this course a couple of months ago, especially before completing the last couple of Assignments. This course was a good level of difficulty, as I was able to understand and learn.
I did not like the “Exploratory Data Analysis” course very much. The first half of the course was enjoyable and interesting, and the practice of some of the ggplot functions made me a lot more familiar with how to manipulate the graphs. I thought that the second half of the “Exploratory Data Analysis” course was quite difficult and confusing. I think that they could have done a better job explaining some of the new functions used in this course before expecting us to know how to use them.
