This is an an overview of the Top 50 Alpine peaks by elevation. You can find two maps generated with the leaflet package from R.
The first one uses the clustering function in order to show the regions with an agglomeration of high mountain peaks. The second one shows the exact position of the mountains even from a higher zoom level. The colored markers provide information about the peak elevation. Both maps contain information about the mountain name, elevation and region within the tooltip.
