The goal is to understand the frequency of forests fires in a time series in Brazil from 1998 to 2017. To find out which states in Brazil have the highest frequency of forest fires to better take action to prevent or fight them.
This project will rely on two data sources: This dataset report of the number of forest fires in Brazil divided by states. The series comprises the period of approximately 10 years (1998 to 2017).

The Amazon rainforests host many varieties of species and forest fires affect these locations. Doing this project can help take action in preventing these forest fires. As an avid traveler looking to travel to Brazil, I will want to find out which states are more prone for forest fires.
